Sore hari minggu 8 desember kemaren saya jalan ke mall citra land sehabis seharian nyate kambing hasil dari pembagian hari idul Adha. Punya rencana untuk ke toko buku mencari buku tentang Public relation dan metodologi penelitian kualitatif. Dengan semangat empat lima langsung naik ke lantai atas di mana gramedia berada. Searching kanan – kiri di hamparan buku yang tertata di rak tak menemukan yang di cari. Ada yang menarik perhatian dari pertama masuk ” Maryamah Karpov” satu buku yang saya tunggu kehadiranya. Setelah saya menuntaskan edisi – edisi pendahulunya. Dan akhirnya saya putuskan tuk membeli novel yang satu ini.

Ini sekedar cuplikan dari novel itu :

Maryamah Karpov adalah novel keempat karya Andrea Hirata yang diterbitkan oleh Bentang Pustaka pada November 2008.Maryamah Karpov merupakan buku terakhir dari Tetralogi Laskar Pelangi dan terdiri dari 2 buku , bagian pertamanya dengan sub judul : Mimpi-Mimpi Lintang.Di buku ini rencananya Andrea akan mengisahkan tentang Arai, Lintang, A Ling, dan beberapa pertanyaan yang belum sempat terjawab di 3 buku terdahulu.

Maryamah Karpov dilaunching pada tanggal 28 November 2008 di toko buku MP Book Point, Jakarta, dan beredar secara resmi mulai tanggal 29 November 2008.Launching buku ini mendapatkan expose yang cukup besar dari media massa dan mendapat perhatian banyak dari khalayak pecinta buku terutama oleh penggemar Tetralogi Laskar Pelangi.Bahkan ada beberapa pihak yang menganggap antusiasme terhadap launching buku Andrea Hirata ini sebagai JK Rowling– nya Indonesia.

Ending dari cerita ini ikal menemukan kembali A Ling yang telah di carinya sampai mengelilingi eropa tapi akhirnya bisa bertemu kembali di pulau batuan di sarang perompak. Sedikit bosan saya membacanya tak seperti membaca edensor tapi di ending cerita bisa menarik lagi.
