Sebagai makluk sosial kita hidup di dunia ini selalu berhubungan dengan orang lain. Di rumah enaknya ngapain ? ngobrol dengan Ibu , Bapak, saudara keponakan adik kakak nenek kakek semua yang menjadi anggota keluarga apalagi kalau ada hal yang seru untuk di bicarakan semangat banget semisal yang lagi hangat nih ngobrolin tentang situasi terakhir kasus situ gintung.
Pasti tertarik donk ngobrolin atau ngomongin bagiamana sebuah danau sebesar 21 hektar jebol dan airnya meluluh lantakkan apapun yang di sekitarnya tidak pandang bulu dari bayi sampai orang tua di hajar oleh keganasannya. Hal itu di sebut komunikasi : coba saya ambil pengertian komunikasi menurut wikipedia :"Komunikasi adalah suatu proses penyampaian informasi (pesan, ide, gagasan) dari satu pihak kepada pihak lain agar terjadi saling mempengaruhi diantara keduanya. Pada umumnya, komunikasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan kata-kata (lisan) yang dapat dimengerti oleh kedua belah pihak.
Apabila tidak ada bahasa verbal yang dapat dimengerti oleh keduanya, komunikasi masihdapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan gerak-gerik badan, menunjukkan sikap tertentu, misalnya tersenyum, menggelengkan kepala, mengangkat bahu. Cara seperti ini disebut komunikasi dengan bahasa nonverbal". Dari pengertian ini bisa di coba dipilah ada apa aza sih di dalamnya yaitu : Proses penyampaian pesan. Pihak yang menyampaikan dan pihak yang menerima dari pada pesan.
Tujuannya untuk mempengaruhi di antara keduanya. Komunikasi bisa di bagi menjadi dua yaitu verbal ( kata – kata , lisan) dan Non Verbal ( gerak badan, kerlingan mata, senyuman, wajah angker ataupun pelototan mata).
Ternyata komunikasi itu adalah suatu proses yang menarik untuk di pelajari. Terkadang untuk berbicara dengan orang itu tidak mudah apalagi dia pimpinan atau orang yang mempunyai jabatan akan terasa sulit jangankan berbicara untuk bertemu aza sudah serem tetapi itu semua manusiawi kan. Dan bagaimana caranya agar bisa berkomunikasi yang baik , tidak serem ,tidak deg degan mengungkapkan pendapat dengan tenang ? banyak cara untuk melakukannya.
Faktor komunikasi memegang peranan penting bagaimana pembicaraan kita menjadi menarik dan nyaman. Hal yang perlu selalu di ingat bahwa komunikasi adalah proses penyampaian pesan, pada saat penyampaian pesan itu terkadang tidak selalu mulus atau ada gangguan semisal bahasa tidak jelas suara kurang keras atau malah tidak di mengerti sama sekali dengan adanya faktor deg – degan tadi, hal – hal seperti ini perlu di perhatikan trus di tambahkan juga dengan tatapan mata. Tatapan mata itu mengandung unsur penting kenapa dengan tatapan mata ini terlihat banyak makna di dalamnya.
Contoh kalau mata melotot bisa di artikan kaget takut atau malah marah atau terpesona. Dari tatapan mata ini kita mesti pintar menggunakanya semisal berbicara sesama teman dengan penuh pengertian dengarkan dengan baik perhatikan dengan penuh semangat berikan tanggapan ke teman kita ambil salah satu kata dari dia dan tanyakan maka teman kita akan merasa di perhatikan dan di dengarkan apa yang dia bicarakan maka komunikasi akan berjalan dengan baik dan menyenangkan. Inilah yang di sebut proses penyampaian pesan kalau pesan sudah di sampaikan dengan baik, jelas tidak ada gangguan selanjutnya adalah si penerima pesan akan merespon memberikan tanggapan seperti yang kita inginkan. Jadi komunikasi adalah proses penyampaian pesan dari seseorang yang memberikan pesan ke seseorang yang menerima pesan dengan maksud untuk mendapatkan respon atau tanggapan. Satu definisi tentang komunikasi sudah di bahas selanjutnya dengan definisi dari sumber lain.
