Setiap hari kita pasti berkomunikasi, baik itu bicara , becanda tersenyum sedih bahkan meluapkan kegembiraan. Bahkan sekarang banyak sekolah yang mengkhususkan mempelajari komunikasi. Salah satu hal yang menunjang dalam keseharian  dan tidak bisa dipisahkan dalam kehidupan makhluk di muka bumi ini yaitu komunikasi. Sebenarnya apa sih komunikasi itu ? Untuk lebih jelasnya mari kita lihat definisi komunikasi dari para pakarnya :

Komunikasi adalah seluruh prosedur-prosedur dimana satu pikiran bisa mempengaruhi lainnya. ( Weaver, 1949)

Dari satu segi pandangan komunikasi, peristiwa itu mungkin saja mengamati dalam ketenaga-kerjaan [dari] simbol (tindakan), di bawah keadaan spesifik (pemandangan), oleh seorang individu atau individu(agen), menggunakan media terpilih (agensi) untuk akhir yang didefinisikan (tujuan). (Bobcock, 1952).

Komunikasi adalah proses dimana kita memahami lain serta pada gilirannya usaha untuk dipahami oleh mereka. adalah dinamis, secara terus-menerus berubah dan pergeseran sebagai jawaban atas total situasi. ( Hovland, Janis, and kalley 1953).

Nah dari beberapa uraian definisi di atas kita jadi tau apa sih sebenarnya komunikasi so kita yang pengen sukses dalam kehidupan sehari hari sudah fardu ain mesti mampu berkomunikasi dengan baik dan efektif. Sebagi contoh saya yang sehari-hari bekerja di bidang It dan secara umum orang – orang it itu sulit dalam komunikasi verbal karena biasanya kami melakukaan komunikasi melalui email ataupun media elektronik lainya sehingga untuk bicara dikala ketemu orang menjadi bahan yang jarang di lakukan ,beda benget di kala dulu saya masuk ke bidang pariwisata yang di tuntut selalu tersenyum dan menyapa siapa saja yang kita temui, sebenarnya alangkah indahnya kalau selain skill It yang ok tapi juga skill komunikasi verbal yang ok pula, sok pasti akan jadi nilai tambah. Dari sini saya coba menarik sedikit analisa seandainya ada orang ahli It tapi juga ahli komunikasi dari sisi nilai jual pasti akan lebih tinggi daya tawarnya. Gimana menurut anda ?
